The following information has been received by Tony Kempster from LARA and he has asked that it be passed on to your club members who may be planning to go green laning in North Wales.
Please notify clubs that caution should be exercised regarding two rights of way in the Wrexham Borough Council area of north Wales:
The ‘ORPA’ shown on OS map 126 at GR 240357 is shown on the definitive map as a bridleway and drivers risk prosecution – LARA is looking into this.
Also, it has been reported that a Land Rover driver was killed on 2nd March when his vehicle ‘toppled down’ a hill near Moel Llys-y-Coed about six miles west of Mold.
