History of DLRC

Thanks Andy, received my copy this morning. That put paid to most of the plans for the day. Just sat and read. A superb record of the club – must have taken so much time and effort – grateful thanks from myself and I’m sure all the other members especially those who admit to remembering that far back! It brought back many memories. Anyone who hasn’t yet ordered their copy – DON’T miss your chance. Already proved its worth as a reference source. Note to Rog – the S1 driver we were trying to identify from my CD cover at Crossways was Brian Dart – WNK 351.

Once again thanks to Andy for all the work – it was worth it. Glad I could make a small contribution.

  1. Picked up my copy today & had a flick through, especially the added center pages of new material.
Andy has done an amazing job of compiling this material, I’m wondering what on earth he’s going to find to fill his spare time with now!!
Nice to see my old s2a trialing at Corfe in the early 90’s.
Graham, thanks. I think young Steve Dart still has the s1.
I wish I hadn’t thrown all my old mags away…….

  2. Glad it’s being enjoyed – thanks again to everyone who contributed material for me to research. There are a few copies left – I’ll bring them to the club meet on Friday

    1. Cracking read Andy, thank you for all your hard work and effort in putting it all together.
