URGENT NOTICE REGARDING THE AGM – The day/date given in the latest issue of the magazine for the AGM (p 7 – Dates for Your Diary) is – to say the least – confusing. It should read FRIDAY 6th October – all the other details regarding time and venue are correct (and to be fair, the correct combination of day and date, i.e. Friday 6th October – appears on four other occasions in the issue!)

The latest issue of The Dorset Rover has been posted and e-mailed out so should be arriving on a door-mat or desk-top near you in the next 24 hours. Usual plea – if yours does not arrive (or you get the wrong format) – please let me know by sending an e-mail to editor@dorsetrover.co.uk There are various references in the magazine to the AGM and the Annual Awards Dinner alluding to items that will be posted over the next few days on the club FB page and also on the website.

It’s been a very busy Summer (even if the weather has been lousy!) with club nights dotting about all over the place, but to restore a semblance of resuming ‘normal service’ (at least temporarily), September Club Night will be a Noggin and Natter at The Chequers (Lytchett Matravers BH16 6BJ) on Friday 1st September. For the benefit of new members, folk tend to arrive from around 7.00pm onwards – and the food at The Chequers is excellent! Hope to see some of you (if not more) there!

And don’t forget that ‘Club Night’ in October will be the AGM at The Bryanston Club just outside Blandford (on Friday 6th October). More details in The Dorset Rover…..
