This weekend’s rtv at Bransgore needs a couple of willing hands to help with setting up on the Saturday (2nd), most likely Am.

No experience necessary, our experienced course setters will set the courses, you’ll be needed to carry the canes & put them in & put the numbers on etc. Not very exciting but you’ll get an insight into how the sections work.

You’ll need to be reasonably fit & stable on your feet.

Please phone me or Tony (or reply on here & I’ll phone you.)

Scrutineering from 9am, start 10.30 at the latest so be there by 9.45 please.

Huge site, sand, mud, water, hills…. We’ll set up 10 sections.

Can Hoggy keep up his driving skills?

You should have all seen this… http://dorsetrover.co.uk/recovery-points/

This is only relevant to rtv’s.

Following a couple of inquiries regarding the possibility  of the rope pulling off the ball on a recovery, there should be no problem with members using ‘pin’ type hitches, either built into a bumper similar to army defenders or bolt on.

Nato hitches are ok but correct fitting requires backing plates BOTH sides of a crossmember!

Email or phone if you need any further assistance. Rog
